Sexual History: Background

For every 10 people, there are at least 20 first times. And not just for piv[1] sex.

According to the CDC: The mean, or average, age for first piv intercourse for women is around 17.2 years of age. Not surprisingly, the age for first piv sex for men averages out at 16.8-17 years as well. Approximately half of male and female teenagers have had oral sex with someone of the opposite gender. If you take just 15-17 year olds, 33-29% had piv sex, and around half or more had had oral sex. The survey was not specific on whether that was giving or receiving. [2] In Britain, approximately 1/3 of men and 1/4 of women lost their piv virginity before the age of 16. In both Britain and America, the average number of partners varied wildly, but the average was over 10 partners for both men and women.  So if you have fewer than 10 partners, you are definitely below average in that regard.

Approximately half of women in a relationship have had anal sex, but not as frequently as piv sex. The percentage for men is higher, but it is not clear whether the men and women are giving or receiving anal sex.  The assumption by commentators is that the vast majority of women are receiving anal sex from men, while males in heterosexual relationships give anal sex and men in and homosexual relationships give and receive.  The act of pegging shows that men in heterosexual relationships are happy to receive anal sex/stimulation.

By age 18, almost all women had given oral sex, but not received it. The same is true for hand jobs and boob jobs. Other types of frottage acts produce similar statistics. Other common acts not involving piv sex and done by the vast majority of women by the age of 20 include:

  • Erotic massage: rubbing of the body to create pleasure and relaxation. This can be done between two or more people of any gender and sexual orientation.
  • Footjob: sexually stimulating one individual’s penis with another individual’s feet. One individual places their feet around the penis and caresses it until orgasm is achieved. Variations where the clitoris is stimulated by feet also occur.
  • Handjob: the manual sexual stimulation of the penis by a person on a male, often used as a form of mutual masturbation.
  • Intercrural sex: when the penis is stimulated by placing it between another individual’s thighs. Lubrication may be used to allow the penis to move more freely between the thighs.
  • Intergluteal sex: stimulation of the penis using the buttocks, often used as a form of mutual masturbation. It differs from anal sex because no penetration of the anus occurs. The penis is stimulated by moving between the buttocks.
  • Mammary intercourse(boob job): the stimulation of the penis by placing the penis between the breasts and moving the penis up and down to create pleasure.  The breast can also be used for clitoral stimulation.
  • Stimulation of nipples: when one partner caresses (either manually or orally) the nipples of their partner.  Women are more likely to orgasm from nipple stimulation, but men may as well.

As part of this class, you are required to take part in surveys of sexual practices. Failure to completely fill out the surveys will result in a failing grade. The results may be shared with this and other classes, but will be done so only in the aggregate. At no time will your responses be identifiable.
